Hosting

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. YouTube videos load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) and only after you click play.

We use Google Analytics to analyze the traffic on our website. Google Analytics may collect the following information when you visit our website or read an article:

Device information: Google Analytics collects information about the device you use to access our Services, including the class of the device (smartphone, laptop, tablet, etc.), operating system, and your city-level geographical location.

Contact form

Messages sent through the form on our Contact Us page are delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form service. When you press Send, your name, email address, message, and consent choice go to FormSubmit, which asks you to complete a captcha to block automated spam and then emails the message to us. FormSubmit handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy, available on formsubmit.co.

We use these details only to reply to your message. If you would rather not use the form, you can email us directly at [email protected].

We do not sell your personal information. We use these services to run the site, and each receives only the data described in this policy:

How long we retain your data

Comments left on earlier versions of the site, and their metadata, are kept for as long as they are shown on the site, unless you ask us to remove them.

Mediavine Programmatic Advertising (Ver 1.1)
